A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Radhika Subramanian for a cytoskeleton biophysics enthusiast! (https://cellularlego.com)
This position is for a candidate interested in developing and applying Atomic Force Microscopy methods to examine the dynamics of complex micron-sized microtubule-based architectures (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.12.22.423986v3). The lab is also well set up for combining AFM with single-molecule fluorescence-based methods. A background in bio-AFM is preferred.
We are a group of researchers from diverse backgrounds with interests ranging from applied physics, biochemistry, cell, and structural biology. Radhika is committed to building a collegial and collaborative lab environment where everyone is able to perform the research that excites them and provide the training necessary for the next steps of their career. We embrace diversity in every way and all interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. Qualified applicants should send a cover letter expressing their research interests, CV, and the names of three references by email to Radhika at: radhika@molbio.mgh.harvard.edu.
